When Isabella Swan decided to move to Forks, Washington to live with her father, she knew that it would change her life though how much so was something that she could have never prepared for nor even imagined. After setting eyes on group of five teenagers (who she later found out to be the Cullens’), Bella noticed something different about them, how even though they were all adopted, they all had similar features. Their eyes were the color of melted gold and their faces so beautiful that they would have put the best work of the art masters of old to shame. It wasn’t long till Isabella began to interact with the family, mostly with Edward Cullen, who seemed to go through more mood swings about if he should be around her or not than she thought possible. However, as time went one, Bella began to find herself falling for the ‘god-like’ teen and it is with this that she made a startling discovery; he was a vampire.
Almost a year and a half later, Edward and Bella finally decided to get married and even though it was at such a young age, it came as little surprise to the people of Forks. After all, the two had been practically inseparable since meeting in junior year, and like many things, the news spread like wildfire throughout the small town. While other’s offered congratulations, there were some who were against it; namely Jacob Black. It was him who had repaired Bella after Edward had left and it was during this time that he found himself falling for Isabella. Sadly, Jacob was soon to be pushed to the side upon Edward’s return and later upon hearing the news of their engagement, found himself fleeing the overcast town.
Speaking of the wedding, the word beautiful would do it a poor justice. Alice went above and beyond in her plans for the couple and it was an event that would certainly go down in the history pages of Forks. As for Bella and Edward, their love and joy was something that could rival the happiest fairytale, and with a honeymoon on the families island, their fairytale was far from ending. Two weeks later, the newlywed couple returned home, still as happy as when they had left. The date for Bella’s change into a vampire had been pushed back after an agreement with Edward to go through the first semester of college at Seattle University as a human, choosing to remain living in Forks.
As everyone knows, the honeymoon eventually has to end and it isn’t long till Edward and Bella’s joy is once again over shadowed by things that they have no control over. It seems as if the bad luck has followed them to their new lives and refuses to go away.
Unknowingly to the Cullens, a war is coming. The Romanian coven has been growing in numbers and it isn’t long before their intention is clear, to rid the world of the Volturi. With the Volturi busy trying to stop their own demises, the vampire world is left unwatched, leaving some to do as they please. Newborns are springing up again in the South as bloodthirsty vamps begin to battle over hunting grounds. Already the humans are noticing the growing numbers of missing people but as always, they are too blind to see the real danger behind the situation. Maria, who managed to escape the Volturi, joins in creating newborns only this time, she plans to bring them to the North.
The Cullens, who have remained neutral, were always thought of as valuable by the Volturi and the need to have the family on their side is ever growing. However, they aren’t the only ones with this thought for the Romanian coven has come up with this plan as well. Both send members over to persuade the Cullens’ to join the fight though this may be harder than they originally thought.
The vampire world is slowly beginning to fall apart into disorder and chaos and everyone knows that it won't take long before it takes affect on the human world.
