Pine Hurst Valley
No parents can explain the sudden happiness that fills them when they discover that their children are accepted to be whisked away to the fabulous Pine Hurst Valley Boarding School. Long known for it's steep bill in accepting students the school is a first in every field. For whatever field a child could be interested interested in studying the school has the proper equipment, instructors and means to show you how.
Congratulations!
That is how the letter begins. No flowery greetings or fake feelings stuck inside like many of the elite schools. Pine Hurst is aware that you are indeed a long shot for this award winning scholarship that they are about to hand you but they feel that they will anyway. Perhaps you excel at sports or are amazing at painting or a musical genius. If those talents exceed you perhaps it is your brilliance in math or English that has won you a place among the other students. Either way you have been granted a great honor.
Pine Hurst Valley Boarding School is pleased to inform you that your son/daughter has won acceptance into our elite program, the letter will go on to explain to your parents. Pine Hurst Valley is the most elite schools. While studying here your child will be subjected to the most rigorous, but at the same time rewarding, lessons possible. Whether your child excels in sports or in the classroom your child will find everything they need to explore their possibilities.
All of our facilities are outfitted with the newest and most efficient equipment. We spare no expense in the classroom or on the sports field. All of our teams have top notch equipment and every classroom is equipped with that will be needed to properly teach the students their lessons.
Pine Hurst Valley is coed but the males and females will be sharing a separate dormitory on opposite ends of the school. With this separation one can assure that they remain apart, particularly with teachers checking the students wings periodically before lights out each day.
Not only does Pine Hurst Valley have award-winning studies, but the campus is beautiful. The school is settled in a valley and surrounded by a might forest of Pine Trees, thus how the school got its name. The forest is a popular hiking site for the students, and many spend afternoons lulling out on the lawns beneath the shade of the large trees. Or they prefer the cool breeze which floats in off of the lake. Although the lake is closed for most of the year, the students are allowed to swim in it when the temperature rises, and we will have a trained life guard on board.
Again, congratulations on your son/daughters achievements and we look forward to seeing him/her among our other students this coming year.
Sincerely,
Isabella M. Falkley.
Principal.
And that was how you ended up here. Your parents saw you were in line for a scholarship, or perhaps they had the money to pay your way in, and here you are. Though don't be shy. Just move on it. Head on over and tell our Principal a little bit about yourself. Oh, and don't forget to fill out a form for your dorms! Make sure the Principal knows if you have a specific roommate in mind, otherwise you could get stuck with someone you dislike!
Now wouldn't that be awful?
Do you think you can handle the pressure?
