It has been 16 years since mutants have ousted themselves to a then frightened world. Since the much has happened in the fight for mutant freedoms. At first humans and mutants hated, feared, and even envied each other. There were deaths, human and mutant alike. But recently humans and mutants have begun to live together, no longer bothered- for the most part- by the other’s presence. Of course, some humans believe that this is a bad idea. And some mutants agree, saying that humans should be brought down.
For now, however, most mutants and most humans are comfortable living, working, and even going to school with each other. Human and Mutant High is one such school. Here, both humans and mutants populate the classrooms, learning to live together. Some humans and some mutants refuse to send their children to the school, but others refuse to send their children anywhere else. The school is a safe haven for both.
But things never stay the same for long.
Six mutants, each with a different personality, and a different history, each with their own power, different in every way but one, small birth mark, somewhere one their body is all it takes to set them apart from all the others. This birthmark signifies more power in this one mutant than anyone has ever seen before.
Of course, power like this does not go unnoticed. Most humans want them dead or locked up somewhere where they can’t do any damage. Though most want them left alone, some mutants agree that they should be put away, It's just too dangerous if that kind of power falls into the wrong hands. And still more say they should be used to bring down the humans.
Just recently they have become aware of how much damage they may be in, even from their fellow students. They have all been pulled towards Human Mutant High, and they are all students, and they are all terrified.

Human Mutant High is in no way related to X-Men. [/blockquote]F
