Don't worry, sweetie, the Desmarais Preparatory "It" Clique, the A-listers, will give you a hand...not.
You're on your own, honey. In this world of high-fashion and drama, it's the survival of the fittest. Either you're in, or you're not, and the A-listers will definitely tell you.
Being on someone's bad side could be the worst mistake of your life.
Welcome to Desmarais Preparatory, an elite boarding school in the beautiful city of Paris, France. Whether you are a high school student or a college student, this is the place to be.
With their laser-whitened smiles and glossy hair, the A-listers are the uncontested rulers of the cliques at Desmarais Preparatory. And then then you have the Rebels, the rivals of the A-listers who want nothing more than to bring them down. There are many other cliques in between, ranging from the most popular girls and guys, all the way down to the Nerds and Loners. The site is brand new, not even three weeks old, and is very close to completion.The CLIQUES:
A-LISTERS
These three girls and three guys rule the school with an iron fist. They are the see-and-be-seens, the top of the social food chain, the group you don't join without express invitation. They throw all the hottest parties and events and declare who is hot and who is so not. Several of them are not very intelligent and are only at this prestigious school because their parents are millionaires. Be careful what you say to an A-Lister - they can break you just as easily as make you.
B-LISTERS
These five girls and five guys are on the next rung down on the social ladder. They're notorious for being major gossips and they'll do just about anything to become A-Listers. They'll dress like them, act like them, talk like them, join the same clubs as them...anything to get noticed. Be careful, though - behind the 'mindless clone' facade they put on, they're always scheming up ways to take over the A-Listers.
JOCKS
These guys and girls are popular in their own right, just not as popular as the A- or B-Listers. They've got those hot, athletic bodies that everyone swoons over. Much like the A-Listers, some of them can be unintelligent because they're only here on an athletic scholarship.
SOCIALITES
Unlike the Sweethearts, this group is very outgoing and they tend to have large circles of friends. The A-listers always make sure to invite them to all the parties because the Socialites are so well-liked. They love to party and are almost always in a good mood. Surprisingly, some of the Socialites tend to have many insecurities that they hide quite nicely.
SWEETHEARTS
These are some of the most gentle kids around. They're very well-behaved and well-mannered. They do well in school but don't flaunt it. They tend to be pushovers, though, because they don't like to cause a fuss and are not usually very assertive. They tend to only have a few friends because they're so quiet and don't approach people. The innocence and purity of these perfect students cannot be corrupted - or can it?
ARTISTS
These students are artistically gifted, whether it be with a paintbrush, a camera, a guitar, or theatre. They are creative, insightful thinkers who tend to have an open mind about new things. One day a few of them will be famous for the things they create, and everyone will know their names when they go big. Some will be fashion designers, some photographers, but they all bond over the fact that they love art.
ACTIVISTS
Name a cause, chances are the Activists support it. They organize all fundraisers at the school. Every Monday morning before first period, they have a table set up filled with brochures and petitions for whatever cause they're currently supporting. "Save the Rainforest!", "Buy a cookie, it benefits literacy!", "AIDS Walk"...get the picture?
REBELS
These wild kids are the polar opposites and rivals of the A-Listers. They have their own unique style and don't care about what others think of them. They tend to be boisterous hellraisers who enjoy battling with the A-Listers. Most of the Rebels are opposed to the idea of cliques and would like to put the A-Listers in their place.
PLAYAS
These are the girls and guys with bad reputations. The guys of the group are known for being manipulative charmers and playas, and the girls are known for partying too hard and sleeping around.
AVERAGES
The Averages are just that - average. They don't really fit into any other clique because there's not much about them that stands out.
NERDS
The school-obsessed kids who like to make sure others know that they are intellectually superior. They are know-it-alls who jump at the chance to give the encyclopedia description of something. They're most often found in the library doing homework, reading, or at the computers playing their geeky video games. Don't pick on them too much though - they're bound to be future leaders of the world someday, so you don't want to be first on their list of people to execute, do you?
BURNOUTS
These students could care less about everything in general. They're the kids who cut class to do drugs and never do the work when they do go to class. It's a shock they haven't gotten expelled yet - most likely because they don't draw attention to themselves so nobody really notices when they're gone.
LONERS
The new kids and shy kids who don't talk to anyone. They aren't ridiculed, but are rather simply ignored by their peers. They don't make an effort to socialize or make themselves noticed.
