Ninety years has seen many changes for the wizarding community. Less than 5 years after Voldemort’s defeat the new Minister decided that the time for secrecy was over. At first the muggles reacted as expected; with shock, fear, and curiosity. Over time that subsided, and now muggles and wizards live side by side in peace. Wizards even use muggle technology now.
What about the world today
What about the place that we call home
We’ve never been so many
And we've never been so alone
Or at least they did. The entire world changed literally overnight in October 2088 - stores, buildings, and houses disappeared, others appeared in their places. People disappeared and others appeared who had never existed, and entire families were rearranged or wiped out; even personalities were changed for some. Hogwarts was a pile of scorched ruins, with a smaller school built near the old ruins. Even the political atmosphere changed - muggles no longer had any idea magic existed and old prejudices lingered. Many people don’t realize what happened; to them the world is as it always has been. A few however do remember their lives before The Change, as it has come to be called. Even more people don’t remember their lost lives, but they do occasionally remember flashes of old memories and feel that something isn’t quite right.

Among those who remember is a group of wizards who support the old values of the Death Eaters, led by Riley Connelly and James Derringer, his right-hand man - and a potential rival for leadership. Already they are starting to recruit new Death Eaters, though people aren’t as willing to reignite old prejudices as the Death Eaters thought people would be. That doesn’t discourage them; after all, with a little persuasion people will come around.

An organization is in the beginning stages of coming together; formed by those who remember. They call themselves the Ghosts, and they meet often while continuing to go about their new lives. Claire Nightsong, Indigo Turner, and Vincent Lewis are the co-founders and leaders of the group, and Claire's daughter Lillith is helping find those at Jovian who remember. The Ghosts have one major goal - to find out what happened, and if there is any way to fix the situation. They have no idea that amid their group are the Death Eaters, though they have heard rumors that the Death Eaters are reforming.
