Once upon a time, the great wizard, Merlin, created a group of witches and wizards that would inspire the idea for King Aurthur's Knights of the Round Table. This organization of witches and wizards are known as the Knights of Merlin. They are the direct decendants of Merlin himself. As his long life was near it's end, Merlin knew that something would have to be done in order to conserve the family line and keep the protection of all witches and wizards alive. To do this he poured all of his power evenly into his three sons, making it so their blood was the purest there would ever be. When he did this a mark appeared upon their backs, a crest of sorts. With the wings of an angel coming from a skull, and a snake coming from the mouth of the skull, it is a symbol of hope and power, but it shows that with all power comes consequences.
Years later the sons of Merlin married and began to make families of their own. They scattered across Europe in order to do this, but they always kept watch over the witches and wizards they were born to protect. Once their children started to get their powers, the Sons of Merlin and their wives all moved to England where they raised their children in a close family enviroment. They rarely associated with other witches and wizards in fear that if their origin was found out those seeking power would try and harm them. Though they knew they had a great amount of magic in their veins, so did their children. This put the children at a great risk, thus, they kept away from the wizarding community.
Once the eldest in each family reached the age of eleven, Jezabella, Maelynn, Drayonna, and (Male), they discovered their powers. Their powers were just like those of a normal witch or wizard, but not for long. Not having any proper training in magic made it so the Sons of Merlin were unable to teach their children spells. The families tried their hardest to teach the kids what they could, but it eventually came to a time that there was no more hope. While playing a game one afternoon, the children all joined hands and started to spin. Unknowingly they began chanting a spell. The joining of their hands and the chanting created a powerful dark cloud in the sky. This cloud sent out blue lightning that hit the children, almost killing them all.
Panicked and clueless as to how the children created the cloud and the lightning, the Sons of Merlin had to make a choice. Lose their children, or give up their lives and power to save them. Of course, they chose to save the children. Doing this, the Sons of Merlin died, passing on the duty to protect all witches and wizards to their sons and daughters. The mothers, scared that such a thing might happen again, cast a spell upon their children. A spell that would send them to a time where they would learn about themselves and their powers. A time where they could study and learn how to use magic the right way. Little did their mothers' know that this spell would cause them to travel, not just to one time, but to three different time periods. Seperated, but always together, they would live in these different time periods, their minds and hearts growing as their bodies did. Each time they grew up, they would learn a little more, but for some reason the spell will not let them live past the age of 21. Through these times they will find love, heartbreak, new powers and much much more.
The Linky;; Knights of Merlin
Things were normal in the magical world. Everything was going just the way everyone knew they would. But, one day, out of the blue, a mysterious family made itself known. Scattered throughout the times, these children are making a huge impact on the wizarding world. Things aren't what they are supposed to be. Salazar Slytheirn, Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Helga Hufflepuff are inspired to create a school to teach wizards and witches by the lack of instruction they see in these four small children. As they grow older, friendship and maybe even more are formed between the Knights and the creators of Hogwarts.
Once their 21st birthday comes around, though, the Knights mysteriously disappeared, taking the younger siblings with them. The creators are clueless as to how it happened, so they decide to not speak of these strange witches and wizards again.
Years and years later, another Knight girl shows up. Attending school with Albus Dumbldore, this strange girl is a mystery no one knows how to solve.
Albus Dumbledore is now a professor at Hogwarts. He travels to the orphanage to invite Tom Riddle to attend Hogwarts, but when he gets there he sees that Tom Riddle isn't the only one that has magic. A strange girl that has caught Tom's fancy has a great amount of power. When Dumbldore asks her name, she only smiles.
These strange Knights show up twice more later down the road. Once during the schooling of the Mauraders, and the second time during the summer before Harry's 5th year. What will change? What will stay the same? Who are these strange witches and wizards?
