To Put it Nicely... Purgatory with a Twist.
The RPG works like a form of limbo in which every character is dead. The idea that every character has in mind is the need to reach Heaven or Hell. Sinners will go to Hell once they have come to terms with their Sin and those with Virtue; who repent, or are already free from Sin will go to Heaven. There is no God judging them. This whole world rests upon the idea that those stuck will find their own solutions.
Characters will interact and form sub-plots and group plots as they help each other find the answers. Those grouped into the categories of “Sinner” will strive only to ruin everyone around them. Those in the category of “The Virtuous” will help others before themselves and could risk being trapped in Limbo forever because they did not work enough on their own problems.
I am the Saint, I watch over Limbo and make sure you don't put a foot out of line. I was once mortal, once trying to reach for heaven but now I am nothing more than a sub-Angel trying to help The Isla remain peaceful and out of the hands of the Demons and their King.
