For almost twenty years, the wizarding world has lived in peace.
Voldemort's reign of terror is all but forgotten. Britain's witches
and wizards go about their everyday lives, happy in the knowledge
that there is no longer any need to look over their shoulder.
The Dark Lord is gone. They believe they are safe.
How wrong they are.
For decades, corruption has festered in the heart of the Ministry
of Magic. The wizarding world prospered despite it. But now things
have gone a step too far. There are those within the Ministry who
reach for the future with greedy hands, eager to twist it to their
advantage. And there are those who still refuse to let go of the past.
Wilbur Hucklefibben, the current Minister,
is nothing more than a puppet.
But who is pulling the strings?
