They are the generation that grew up in a time of change. For eleven years after the Dark Lord’s defeat the Wizarding World was a peaceful community.
Hogwarts broke with the house tradition to abolish house rivalries, a second newspaper came into being. Many people were not comfortable with the Ministry’s influence on The Daily Prophet and so The Verity was founded, an independent newspaper, sworn to publish the truth.
Lead by Kingsley Shacklebolt as Minister, peace could be upheld. Until one fateful night a murder occurs at the Ministry, the next day’s headlines broadcasting the terrible news.
“Minister Shacklebolt murdered.”
How could this happen? As many investigations as the Auror department conducts, they can not find the culprit. Panic erupts among the Wizarding community.
During this time of need one man rises to power, promising continued peace and order. Roy Rudlow, former Minister for foreign affairs, succeeds Shacklebolt as Minister. No one knows, though, that the man’s mind is corrupted.
An unforgivable alliance is formed…
Far away in an unknown place a small group of Death Eaters is still at large, biding their time until they are called by their new leader, the Minister of Magic himself, to continue the Dark Lord’s will, conquering the Wizarding World and purging it from all Muggleborns and Halfbloods.
