In 1977 during a Potions class for a new prank James decided to slip certain Ingredients into a Slytherin's Cauldron while they were supposed to be making Veritaserum. James wanted to make a potion which would glue their tongue to the roof of their mouth. He was pretty sure he knew what to do. Remus being Remus though decided to re-search if it was safe for the ingredients to mix. When he found out that it was safe, and nothing too bad would happen. He let James, and Sirius go ahead with it. The only problem was the Slytherin hadn't been making the first potion correct in the first place, it turned out that he was stirring it the wrong way, and instead of having their tongue glued to the top of their mouth like they had wanted. It created a big purple puff of smoke instead, and they found themselves transported into the future with out a way back.
No one knows why, but for some reason the potion made in the past, also transported the future (the Trio's kids) into the same exact year as the rest of them. They were all transported into the year 1997. It seems like they have to find their way back on their on seeing as Dumbeldore is now dead. On top of all that they have to deal with the war thats going on. Will Voldemort ever be defeated. Will they ever get home. Will they save the future, or will they destroy it even more by just being there. Will they run into their older selves?. Will the past run into their future kids, and will the future run into their parents as teenagers?.
