They purposefully left her at school, one day, second week of school, or so. After this curse had gone on for a while. Apolline was well aware that she was different. Not a good different either. She hated what she had become. Declan and Sara just didn't pick her up, yet Keifer was gone. So, they had had to pick him up. Alone and afraid, Apolline with her backpack on her shoulders, she walked home to find the house completely empty. Confused and scared, she ran over to her neighbor's house. Scotty Monaghan. Well aware that Scotty was a wizard, like her ma was a witch. She was the only person besides, her parents and Keifer she told that she was a werewolf. After the words came out of her mouth. The eight year old was afraid that he would run like her family had. She was smart enough to know it wasn't just an odd occurence of events. Surpringsly, Scotty didn't run. He took her in and she's been his Liney (as he affectionally calls her) ever since.

The two are very close and everyone who knows them or sees them assumes them to be father and daugther when they actually aren't, but relations by blood, or not. They are their own family.
