The New Laws
⓵ The Ministry of Magic will not appoint Halfbloods or Muggleborns in leading positions
⓶ All impure Ministry workers will have to be ‘believers’ and will be closely watched
⓷ Everyone has to register their blood status
⓸ St. Mungo’s will be devided for Purebloods (employees & patients) from all others
⓹ Impure wizards will not have the same benefits in financial and career matters as Pureblood wizards
⓺ Organizations will all be registered and monitored by someone appointed by the Ministry of Magic
⓻ Impure wizards must obtain permits to travel, attend special events or receive visitors from abroad, or join local clubs (such as Quidditch)
⓼ Marriage is prohibited between Muggleborns and pure- or halfblooded wizards. ‘Relations’ are punished at the highest degree - the Muggleborn will be executed or sentenced to life in prison

The Educational Decrees a.k.a., the rules
Educational Decree no. 1 This is a Harry Potter role play, but it is set in the Marauder era. Be creative with characters, but remember to follow rules about canon characters and the time itself. We are not too strict about details, but keep it realistic.
Educational Decree no. 2 You are allowed to have as many characters as you wish. You will need to post once a week per character (minimum). We do ask that you have 100 posts completed for each character before starting a new one after your second. Please make one account per character to stop from confusion. If you make a Part Time Character note PTC in your application.
Educational Decree no. 3 If playing a Canon Character please post at least twice a week, because, when you think about it, most story lines are based around you.
Educational Decree no. 4 Only role-play your own characters. Never write thoughts, actions, or dialogue for a character other than your own, unless you have discussed it before. If we receive a complaint, you will be warned. After three warnings you will be blocked for 2 weeks, and after a fourth you will be banned.
Educational Decree no. 5 We don't ask that you get along with everyone. But we do ask that you at least show respect. If for some reason, you are having trouble getting along with a person, leave the thread. PM one of the staff (Jocelyn, Belinda, Phaedra or Michael) if you want to complain and we will deal with the problems.
Educational Decree no. 6 Quality! Good spelling, grammar, and plotlines add to everyone's rp enjoyment. Click here to see what we mean There is a spell check button whenever you post, so use it! No size 1 posting. Nobody can read that. And after a vote we decided that all posts should be 200+ words long.
Educational Decree no. 7 If your character has special abilities they must be cleared in your application form. The same is with powerful characters - the powers must be realistically explained.
Educational Decree no. 8 This site is not strictly rated, so use your brain as to what curse words are ok in certain situations. If you post sex, please rate your thread [R] for those who think sex is not natural and has to be censored xP.
Educational Decree no. 9 If the killing of a character is going to happen, then please inform either Jocelyn or Belinda of it.

Please don't start any new threads at Hogwarts, only finish your current ones and then post outside the castle. Administration will be locking and shifting threads from today :) You can however sign up for new classes, Prefect positions, Quidditch, jobs, etc...
